Verge Motorcycles redefines electric superbikes with a proprietary hubless motor system housed inside the rear wheel. This “Donut” motor—developed with Verge’s in-house R&D and Donut Lab—eliminates traditional drivetrain parts like chains and belts. It delivers up to 1,200 Nm of torque and up to 150 kW of power, launching the TS Ultra from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds. Heat-dissipating fins built into the wheel’s center regulate thermal output even under peak load.
Powering this system is a frame-integrated battery pack that supports up to 375 km (233 miles) of real-world range. Thanks to DC fast charging, Verge bikes recharge from 0 to 80% in approximately 25 minutes—making them viable for both thrill-seeking rides and urban mobility.
The simplified mechanical design also reduces maintenance needs: with no belts, chains, or gearboxes, only the tires and brakes need routine service. Combined with automotive-grade software, OTA updates, and customizable ride modes, Verge delivers high-performance EV engineering with minimal upkeep.
