Midipile is a French startup developing lightweight, pedal-assisted electric utility vehicles designed to make city logistics cleaner, cheaper, and more local. Its flagship model, the 9:23, combines human power with electric assist, carrying up to 300 kg while using only 70 Wh/km, less energy than many e-bikes. Built in Charente, France, the 9:23 features a modular chassis, enclosed cabin, and solar integration, available in flatbed, van, and pickup configurations. Aimed at couriers, municipal fleets, and service operators, Midipile’s vehicles deliver high payload capacity in a compact 3-meter form factor, offering a practical alternative to vans and cargo bikes for short-range urban mobility.
